Gift Voucher: Pottery Lesson for 2 people

About the Class

​

This two-hour taster class is the ideal experience for those who have always wanted to try their hand on the potters' wheel or who wish to improve their throwing skills. Booking for a lesson in our 1-to-2 class means you get lots of help and support as needed. It is ideal for the complete novice and as an experience gift for someone special. After a demonstration by Cáit, most beginners usually achieve 2 pots they're happy with during the class. Your pots will be fired and ready to collect at the end of the term following the course, see below for further details.

 

Materials included

 

All the clay (we use studio-white earthenware) you'll need, all necessary tools and equipment, a poncho-style apron and towels are all provided. You just need to bring yourselves and clothes and shoes you don't mind getting messy in. Up to four pots will be fired twice and glazed in your choice of blue, green or white.

Saturdays: 11am - 1.30pm or 2.30pm - 5pm

About the Teacher

​

Cáit graduated from Ceramics at Glasgow School of Art in 2006. She has been teaching pottery regularly since 2017. She loves the opportunity to share her passion for clay and help others have the opportunity to get their hands on a pottery wheel and learn the skills needed to create their own pottery.

Cancellation Policy

You can reschedule your class provided I am given at least 7 days notice before your class date. Regrettably, I am unable to change any bookings if LESS than 7 days notice is given.

If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason I can offer a full refund if you tell me within 14 days of receiving your goods (by emailing caitgouldceramics@gmail.com). You have another 14 days to return the goods in the state you received them once you’ve told me. I cannot cover the cost of returning the goods and they must be unused. It is recommended that you return items via registered mail so that you have proof of dispatch in case the item is lost. 

You will receive your refund within 14 days of me receiving the goods back. You don’t have to provide a reason.

Your purchase is considerately packaged by Cáit and posted using "Royal Mail Signed for" in order to insure the safety of the work. We aim to get your order to you within 3-4 days. However, during lockdown deliveries may be delayed and you may have to wait for up to two weeks.  

If your purchase is damaged upon arrival please let Cáit know within 7 days of receipt by emailing caitgouldceramics@gmail.com with photographic evidence. Claimants must retain all the packaging and contents of damaged items or items subject to part loss as Royal Mail may need to inspect them. If they are not retained compensation may not be paid.

Every care is taken to ensure that your order reaches you at its best. However, accidents cannot be entirely avoided, and due to pieces being handmade there may be a wait of several weeks if you prefer to receive a replacement.
